And in their wealth (was the) right (of) those who asked and the deprived.
View 78 More Translations ↓and [would assign] in all that they possessed a due share unto such as might ask [for help] and such as might suffer privation
and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth
And in their wealth and possessions (was remembered) the right of the (needy,) him who asked, and him who (for some reason) was prevented (from asking)
وَفِیۤ أَمۡوَ ٰلِهِمۡ حَقࣱّ لِّلسَّاۤىِٕلِ وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ ١٩
wafī amwālihim ḥaqqun lilssāili wal-maḥrūm
